How To Take Care Of Your Legwear

We cannot guarantee that the stockings you just bought are never going to run, but there are a lot of things you can do to prevent this from happening:
  • File your toenails and fingernails regularly so that they don’t have any sharp edges
  • Using hand- and foot cream helps making your skin smoother
  • Wear thin (cotton) gloves when putting on your stockings
  • If you bought very thin nylons (between 15 and 30 denier) you can apply a thin layer of clear nail polish across the seam at the toes, which makes them stronger
  • Wash your stockings in cold water (you can put them in the washing machine, using a laundry bag) with gentle detergent on a program for delicate laundry
  • Turn thicker tights inside out, especially the ones that have sparkles on them
  • Hang them to dry and don’t put them in the dryer
If you handle them with care they can last for years!
